| Nokia Power Keyboard Finally in Stock; Shipping Out Now Posted: 02 Feb 2014 02:41 PM PST The Lumia 2520′s power keyboard is the perfect companion for the Lumia 2520; unfortunately as we mentioned in our review, the power keyboard was not available for purchase at the time, and we couldn’t review it. Thankfully however it seems that the power keyboards are rolling off the production lines and into stores, and more importantly into consumers hands. If you ordered a 2520 in the US and qualified for the free keyboard offer it should be shipping soon, the keyboard also went on sale at the Finnish flasghip store, but has apparently sold out already. (it seems it might only be available in black at the moment). Hopefully we’ll be able to pick one up soon and review the Lumia 2520 with the keyboard and share our thoughts on that. In the mean time here’s our hands on video from Nokia World to refresh your memory on what an awesome accessory this is:

| Gallery: Lumia 925 in Black + Superman Charging Cover Posted: 02 Feb 2014 08:35 AM PST Although the Lumia 925 isn’t the freshest Lumia on the market (or the highest specced), it still is arguably one of the best looking ones out there. And although we we covered and reviewed the 925 here on MNB, we never really did get a chance to play with a black one (Michael had the grey, and me and Jay had the white), the black remains the sexiest of the trio in my opinion. To prove my point here’s a little gallery of the Lumia 925 in black along with the super awesome, and super limited edition superman wireless charging cover in red. I think the contrast between the red and the black makes for a very powerful contrast effect. The cover has a very satisfying snapping effect to it, as well as a nice matte feel to it. Are you convinced? |
| WP8.1 screenshot shows separate media volume controls & on screen button (Updated) Posted: 01 Feb 2014 10:53 PM PST Update: Unfortunately it seems that once again this is nothing more than another photoshop render, as multiple separate sources have debunked the authenticity of this image. Apologies for the false alarm folks. We were sent a screenshot of what appears to be a device running WP 8.1, you can the separate media volume that was previously leaked, as well as, a quick shortcut to settings. Also visible are the onscreen windows phone keys as well as what appears to be the ability to change the secondary theme color (background) as is available in windows 8.1. We can’t vouch for the authenticity of this image but it does seem to line up with everything we’ve seen and heard about windows phone 8.1. What do you guys think?
