Name That Nokia: Law Abiding Citizen Edition Posted: 15 Jan 2013 07:40 AM PST Now that I’m on vacation I’m catching up on my to watch list, the first of which begins with “Law Abiding Citizen” (I give it a 7/10- good story line but very difficult to believe). Although I must bump that score up a point or two due to the sheer amount of Nokia’s in that movie. The movie contains some of the classic fan favorites as well as an obscure Nokia that I wasn’t able to place; perhaps some of our readers would be able to place it. At first I thought the first image was an N73, since I thought there was a joystick covered by his thumb, but apparently it’s not. |
Vodafone Spain launches Nokia Lumia 920 Posted: 15 Jan 2013 05:00 AM PST Whilst still not in Vodafone-UK, Vodafone Spain however have got the Nokia Lumia 920 available. I checked at Voda-ES and their 920 page is live. Not sure if it’s black only or just black for now or if I can’t work out how to change colour choices. It goes for 51 Euros monthly, the same price as the KIRF version.

PhotoSynth For WP8 Coming “Couple Weeks Away” ; Delayed Due to Driver Problems Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:13 PM PST Photosynth, the amazing panoramic photo stitcher app for windows phone is yet to be available for Windows Phone 8. The photoshynth twitter account is blaming the delay on some drivers not playing nicely with a couple “important phones”.
But more importantly these issues are “mostly behind them” so the release should hopefully be on the way. Check out our demo of Photosynth on Windows Phone 7 over here: http://mynokiablog.com/2012/05/30/video-photosynth-panorama-app-for-wp-seriously-awesome-app/ |
Official Speedtest App Finally Available for Windows Phone 8 (Only) Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:05 PM PST The official Speedtest app for WP8 has finally landed in the marketplace, and is free to download from the store.
Michael: You can get the app by clicking below. Doesn’t seem to show up when manually searched for (at least on my Lumia 820)
