Video: Asphalt 7 Playing on Lumia 720 Posted: 07 Apr 2013 09:21 AM PDT Here’s a demo of Asphalt 7 running on the 512mb powered Lumia 720; the app was recently updated to allow it to run on devices with less Ram as well as taking up less size on the device (close to 300 mbs now rather than the original 700-800).
I really can’t get over how awesome the 720′s screen is; the great viewing angles are clearly visible in the video above; I keep wondering what the 720 would be like in terms of sales if it had 1Gb of ram. It has a potential to be a 920 rival, or at least a 920 lite. Something that brings the same great camera, design with a slimmer body and refined look *drools*

#N9Hacks: Dark Theme for Stock Twitter client (+ more features) Posted: 07 Apr 2013 06:00 AM PDT With the introduction of inception, the Harmattan community received the ability to replace system apps with their own versions (the status bar modification was perhaps the most well known). Know, thanks to the help of the community, the stock client has received a UI overhaul, with a dark theme thanks to coderus. Its the same as the standard app, just dark! Now thats not all, Anand Bibek has also added “quote and retweet”. Lets see what other great things the community will bring, not just to Twitter, but also to other apps along the way.

Concept enhanced: Closer look at folders for WP8. Posted: 06 Apr 2013 10:57 PM PDT
Whilst we’re on the discussion of concepts on the last post, I just wanted to highlight another based from Friday’s post. In particular looking at folders on the homescreen, the most discussed portion of the post.
In this post, we’ll see the other instances of the folders, such as when there are more than four items, or containing even larger sized live tiles.
A gif file attempts to show these ideas. This isn’t visible in the main body of the original post.
