Nokia Suite seems to have been updated according to this screenshot sent to us. Now on V3.4.21.0 it improves features and performance, stability and provides ‘updated applications’. I haven’t checked my Nokia Suite in a while as it said something it being expired without giving a download link to update. :S
Cheers TS for the tip!

No wait, no not that Will Smith.

This is Will Smith from Tested.com, fronted by the guys from Mythbusters, Will covers the Consumer Electronics stuff. He’s on the Techzilla show talking about the Lumia 900.

by
Will says it’s his favourite Windows Phone though with WP8 looming, he’s unsure whether it will get supported. Based on that, Ars Technica wrote an article saying you probably shouldn’t get this phone if it might not get updates. They’re really liking the blue, which the girl says she thought was a case until she remembered they’re actually that colour. Will prefers the Black himself though thinks the stand out cyan looks better on camera.
http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2012/04/the-nokia-lumia-900-a-good-phone-at-a-great-price-that-you-probably-shouldnt-buy.ars
I want to reiterate then this comment by one of our readers. Is the phone good at the time? Does it do what you want? Or are you buying it expecting it to be something else a few months down the line?
To be completely fair, I don't get this obsession with OS "updates" which essentially change the OS from the ground up and make it more difficult to run on old hardware.
If you buy a phone, it's best to do so going by what it can do right now, at this very moment, than by what a company promised or hasn't promised for the future. Who knows, a company might go bankrupt in a matter of months and you'd be cheated of that kind of investment.

Supposedly, rumours are saying that PR2.0 or Tango might be coming as an update to your Lumia some time in June or Week 17.
Note, this is just a rumour.

Some Nokia Lumia 900 and Titan II users have reported problems connecting to AT&T LTE. I wasn’t sure if that was an AT&T issue or something specific to Nokia as was the recent reports.
Anyway, not to shy away, Nokia are immediately addressing their customers concerns (as opposed to fobbing them off and telling them something like they’re holding it wrong). Nokia are being pro-active to help those affected and more so.
http://conversations.nokia.com/2012/04/11/putting-people-first/
As a good will gesture, current Nokia Lumia 900 owners will get $100 towards their AT&T bill (I wonder if AT&T’s helping out there – who is the issue with?). You’ll also get this if you get a Nokia Lumia 900 up until 21st April. That’s whether your handset is affected or not, you will still get Nokia’s good will gesture.
To address the possible connectivity issue you have two options:
An update will be available on or around April 16th (5 days time) that will fix the bug
Swap your current Lumia for an already updated Lumia 900.
Shame, shame, shame that a bug like this could appear for such a critical handset. Hopefully it has not been too widespread and props to Nokia at least for nipping it in the bud and addressing their customers best interest first.

Here’s a neat little video showing a Nokia 808 event in India. It is reiterated that whilst WP is the new strategy, Symbian still has its place, especially in India. Symbian can fill price points and is also a platform for innovation, bringing things like NFC and now PureView in Nokia 808.
The 808 is looking really nice in the hands on. Belle FP1 looking very snappy. The guy in the video says he doesn’t want to mention Symbian as a downside and would prefer to see this in a Windows Phone. Well, yes, but Belle FP1 is looking pretty neat, no? I guess Lumia PureView will come but there’s going to be a wait. If folks want PureView now, then go for 808. I don’t know why, but they mention the N8 was using PureView lite – is that their interpretation or something Nokia India mentioned. This was something Steve Litchfield mentioned some weeks ago when discussing the lossless zoom in N8′s video.

Here’s some more videos from the Free Time Machine promo that Microsoft has organised. Note at the start, the iconic Nokia Tune.
I’m liking this buzz going on in the US for the Nokia Lumia 900. It’s quite unheard of, and fortunately for now it seems to be translating into sales.
First up, it’s Kourtney Kardashian.

Stephanie Izard – a celebrity chef.

Vernon Davies, American Footballer

This video is about RDA, remote device access, where you can test your apps in other handsets that you might not actually have – so  you test devices remotely.
This video will give an introduction to using Remote Device Access (RDA) to test your apps for Series 40 phones. See how to access the service onhttp://www.developer.nokia.com, select a phone, and start the RDA client. Then discover how to install your application, run it, and perform testing. You also get an introduction to the more advanced features of RDA, including adjusting the display quality to optimise performance, accessing the phone’s file system, and taking screenshots among others.
For Series 40 developers globally, the addition of Series 40 phones to the Nokia Developer RDA service means that testing apps on multiple phones is now convenient, easy, and above all free of charge.
For more information, visit http://www.developer.nokia.com/RDA or follow the RDA service on twitter http://www.twitter.com/nokia_rda.

I saw this guy’s ( ) video over the weekend where he got really mad that he wouldn’t receive his Nokia Lumia 900 whilst he preordered it. I won’t post that here as that is about 95% cussing at the delivery people.
Anyway…
He loves his gadgets – and he seems to have regular new videos and in this one, he is super happy to get a Nokia. I believe that he mentioned before that we was a Nokia fan and would never have considered WP if it wasn’t for Nokia. Upon unboxing, he’s loving the design – much more so than his note. ‘This thing is STYLISH!’

Here’s another tongue in cheek video of some guy who seems to like his Lumia 900

Congratulations Nokia Russia, this is possibly my favourite Amazing Everyday video.
The first one I saw was called Amazing lift: Police. An unsuspecting member of the public tries to leave a very small confined lift when they are forced back in by these guys in ninja (police?!) outfit. It’s all rather tense until they burst into song.

There’s another one where they dress up as angry birds.

Oh and this one. Another unsuspecting amazing lift.
These stunning Russian girls get into the lift and then the lift turns into a club scene as the girls whip off their coats to reveal. Well.
Amazing Everyday. Mini party in the lift ensues.

This! This is the kind of Amazing Everyday – something to make you smile and laugh and brighten up your day. I love the contrast – from unsuspecting or simply tense and scary to something quite funny or enticing.
