This review from The Independent echoes all my excitement for the Nokia Lumia 920. They’re simply in love with the device. The love the gorgeous pin sharp screen, the buttery smooth curve screen design, the connectivity, the build, the battery life, the camera. It’s almost, in a way, too good (lol at the extra 0.7MP comment). I’m super happy with the 920 myself – very proud user of what Nokia’s come up with. Cheers jiipee for the tip! |

Nokia’s Maps. They get you where you want. That’s the basic thing of Sat Nav’s right? Not really if you’re Apple and seem to be directing drivers not only to the wrong place, but potentially dangerous locations. Some of the Apple defence force are leaving comments in the video that it’s OK to be stranded for 24 hours without food since your body can survive. Ha.

This feedback survey from Nokia outlines features from Microsoft and Nokia that’s coming into WP7.8 – many you’re already familiar with. This includes the WP8 homescreen, Kid’s Corner lock screen, more theme colours, etc from Microsoft. WPCental reports that an update to WP8 OTA is appearing live on the HTC WP8 device. This update fixes a bug to allow persistent WLAN connection when display is off as well as “SMS Call Reject, SMS Drafts and SMS Select all have been added to the OS”
