Posted: 28 May 2013 12:53 PM PDT @KzudenO tweeted us that I’d like this video. I thought it was spam at first to make me click on a random video but noticed lots of Lumia things from their username. The video turned out to be a brand new music video from Kelly Clarkson and woahMG, was I happy indeed to see my bright Pikachu Yellow Nokia Lumia 920 on the scene amongst the black and whiteness. It’s not there subtly, it stands out in the black and white scene. I love how the story here is about bringing in colour and the colourful Nokia Lumia 920 is taking pride of place Hurrah Nokia, Nokia, Nokia quite prominent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWbMz_aBlMU
Cheers KzudenO for the tip! |
Microsoft’s Infographic Breaks it Down, Why Low Light Images Matter Posted: 28 May 2013 11:04 AM PDT
Microsoft posted the cute info graphic above on WindowsPhone.com detailing why we need proper lowlight photography in our lives. Pretty cool if you ask me, maybe this year we’ll have slightly less “bad 4th of July” pictures. http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/cmpn/nokia-lumia-928-infographic?signin=true |
Deal: Nokia WIreless Charging Pad (DT-900) on Sale for $24 (Free Shipping) Update: Sold Out Posted: 28 May 2013 10:51 AM PDT Here’s a deal you don’t want to miss out on, especially if you don’t have a wireless charging pad just yet. THe DT-900 is on sale at paydeals for an absurd $24, sure it’s no exclusive Man of Steel edition but it’s still a super deal. Grab one in white or black at the link below:
Update: sorry folks, the plates are all sold out ( for some reason the link died when they sold out, plus the list price went up to $29) – Link is fixed now; so keep an eye out in case they come back in stock.

Rumor: Samsung to Implement OIS Technology in Galaxy Note 3 Posted: 28 May 2013 10:33 AM PDT According to the latest rumors Samsung is once again copying others leads, this time by putting some OIS in the next Galaxy note. HTC have already attempted to reproduce Nokia’s lead in this field with some bitter-sweet results (although that might have been due to their insistence on using a 4 According to a Samsung employee:
What worries me more than Samsung actually being able to pull off a decent rendition of of the 920′s OIS, is the fact that it would be one less exclusive feature left in the most innovative smartphone in the world. Thanks everyone who sent this in

Nokia Lumia 920 spotted on Penny Arcade comic strip Posted: 28 May 2013 02:27 AM PDT An interesting spotting of a Nokia Lumia (either 800 or 920 – note LED placement, more likely the 920 due to being made in 2013). It’s in a Penny Arcade comic. Note there’s some profanity. According to the comments, they’re long time users of WP. Via: Reddit

SymbianApps: GoPro Browser for Symbian (GoPro Hero 3) Posted: 28 May 2013 02:20 AM PDT Just came across this video showing the GoPro browser app for Symbian, which works with the GoPro Hero 2 and 3. This allows you to access files from the GPH 2/3 directly from your S^3 (Anna/Belle) handset. You can download and preview items and video preview streaming (not sure you can do direct live streams from the device to use it as perhaps a surveillance camera but that’s not what GoPro is for).

Video: Nokia Lumia 920 – DIY paint job for dual shot colour Posted: 28 May 2013 02:07 AM PDT Inspired by the dual colourings of the Nokia Lumia 620, the guy in this video modded his Nokia Lumia 920′s to have a similar effect. I just loved watching the process of it all – it’s intriguing like a programme of ‘How it’s made’
