The international RAZR HD is already available in Canada and it was bound to come to Verizon at some point. That point is October 18th and it will be accompanied by the RAZR MAXX HD. The price tag for the RAZR HD is $199, while the Droid RAZR MAXX HD is $299 and comes with a massive battery. The RAZR HD offers 16 GB of storage and it’s available in black or white. Motorola and Verizon will offer the MAXX HD with 32 GB of storage and it will only be available in black. Other specs include a 4.7 inch AMOLED screen, 1 GB of RAM and a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, while at the back is an 8 megapixel camera. Android 4.0 ICS is the OS here, although Jelly Bean would have been much more welcome at this point of the year. Kevlar coating is present at the back for extra durability, in case you want to subject it to various minor shocks. So, will you pick this model up or wait for the Galaxy Note II? Related posts: |
BlackBerry 10 L-Series Smartphone Appeares on Software Demo Video Posted: 12 Oct 2012 10:07 AM PDT I guess it’s a well known fact that RIM is having serious financial problems that they hope to overcome with the launch of their new version 10 f the OS and new devices to go with it. So far info about R and L series surfaced, with the latter going for the mid range category. A while back we showed you the leaked specifications list for one of the handsets – the BlackBerry Laguna (R069). A video showing a new RIM handset of the L-series surfaced on the internet. It shows the Blackberry device in all its splendor, having a thin, boxy design and slightly rounded matte black casing. There's also the very prominent BlackBerry logo at the bottom of the device. The highlight of the video is not however the smartphone, but rather the OS. RIM’s version 10 Blackberry OS has taken a lot of time to develop and brings a huge number of features and improvements over the previous versions. Previous leaked videos were quickly taken down by the manufacturer so we suspect this one will be too. The new Blackberry devices, along with a rumored quad-core flagship smartphone, are expected to arrive early next year. Enjoy the video below (while you can):
