White Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 pic leaked, with white wireless charger

@evleaks has a picture of the Nokia Lumia 822, a much needed Nokia for Verizon (as is a much higher end 920 but that’s another issue).

You can see it in white along with a Nokia wireless charging plate.

Dummy Lumia 820 Pops-Up at O2 Store (UK)

The picture above is apparently a dummy Lumia 820 that has been spotted on display in O2 stores (UK); although the 820 has yet to be officially confirmed for O2 having dummy devices on display kind of says it all. Although I’m not quite sure what the blue butterfly is all about?

The official Nokia blog of South Africa reports that MTN and Vodacom will both be getting the Nokia Lumia 920 with the 820 following shortly in November.

We have some great news for South African enthusiasts. They will be among the first in the world to sample the new flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphones, when they arrive in South Africa in November.

Initially 'the world's most innovative smartphone', the Nokia Lumia 920, will land at both MTN and Vodacom stores, with the Lumia 820 following soon afterwards.

Here are a couple of hands on videos of the newly announced Nokia Lumia 510 budget smartphone.

We’re told in terms of performance, it’s very zippy. This is said to be upgradeable to WP7.8 with that WP8 homescreen amongst other things.

Anyway, TheVerge reports that Nokia are issuing a set of bonds in the hope to raise 750M EUR. Almost 1 billion dollars.

Here’s a video called ‘Nokia Green Office’ from Nokia. Not sure what’s on it as I’m on limited bandwith and can’t load the video properly.

I’ts always a good day to think green. We encourage Nokia employees to replace travel with video and teleconferencing as much as possible. Since 2008, Nokia’s air travel miles and related CO2 emissions have been reduced by 36%. We also prefer cycling or commuting to work, eat locally sourced food, and drink from mugs. All our new offices are built in eco-friendly way. And when we leave our offices for example in Finland, Beijing and the US, our lights and air conditioning switch off automatically.

Nokia India shared on their Facebook that the yet to be announced Nokia Lumia 510 would be coming soon. Here it is as pictured possibly I believe by CJ who tweeted the picture above.

I was just on NokConv prior and checked again after seeing this – no official announcement yet. It should appear on there some time today.
