HTC Endeavour C2 Specs Leak, Seems to be HTC One X+

Posted: 09 Aug 2012 03:34 AM PDT

We’ve been hearing about the HTC One X+ for a while now, as the new device with Tegra 3+ CPU and pretty much the same specs as the One X. Now there’s a fresh batch of leaked specs for a mystery model called HTC Endeavour C2, that sounds very much like the One X successor.

We hear about a 1.7 GHz quad core processor inside the Endeavour C2, plus an improved battery (maybe in management, not capacity, according to rumors), new colour versions for the case and bundled UrBeats headphones. Sources say that the HTC Endeavour C2 is compatible with One X accessories, so the design should be pretty similar. As far as software goes, the new handset will get ClearVoice technology for improved call quality and the C2 will be the first device to run HTC Watch 2, the latest video streaming offer from HTC.

There’s also a rumored launch time frame of “sometime around October 1st” and a rumored contract of 5 quid a month more than what the One X costs on the UK networks at least.

Samsung Galaxy Note Available on T-Mobile Now; Late Much?

Posted: 09 Aug 2012 02:31 AM PDT

While everyone is excited to see the Samsung Galaxy Note II at IFA 2012, on some retailers and carriers last year’s Note is coming only now. One of them is T-Mobile, that finally made available the 5.3 inch phablet, powered straight by Android 4.0 ICS with the Samsung Premium Suite bundled out of the box.

It also comes with the T-Mobile 4G Pro App Pack, that includes apps like Dropbox, Evernote, SQuare, Tripit, CamScanner and Linkedin. I remind you that this is a Super AMOLED HD touch device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz. You need to spend $249.99 for it on contract for 2 years or $599.99 without contract, but I advise you to wait till the end of the month, since I bet that the price of the Note II won’t be that different.

But then again, T-Mobile might launch the Note II somewhere around the end of 2013, if they keep showing up late in the game like with this Note.

Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE Ready for August 19 Debut?

Posted: 09 Aug 2012 01:39 AM PDT

There are new rumors floating around concerning a new Motorola phone, a 4G LTE device ready to debut on Sprint. It’s most likely the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE handset that was announced last month with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and now it’s ready for an August 19th launch in shops.

Aside from the slide out QWERTY keyboard and 4G, you may be interested in the fact that this Photon is supposed to be the first handset from Moto with an easy to unlock bootloader. Motorola is famous for being tight on this area for years now, but with Google buying them, they must have mellowed out. The device will come with a 4.3 inch HD screen, Android 4.0 ICS and the slide out QWERTY keyboard I already mentioned, possibly the selling point of this unit.

Under the hood there’s the same 1.5 GHz dual core CPU that powers the Galaxy S III and many other devices out there, such as the HTC One S and ASUS Padfone. So, are you interested in buying a slider in 2012, the year when Google Glasses are fancier than keyboard input?
