Lenovo Preparing Huge Battery Smartphone Called P770

Posted: 09 Nov 2012 05:54 AM PST

Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD has been some sort of landmark when it comes to battery capacity and power and the Galaxy Note II was also praised for that. Lenovo is seeking similar praise, through its brand new P770 Android smartphone, that should bring the biggest battery on the market.

Usually nowadays smartphones are really power drainers, because of their LTE connectivity, high resolutions and powerful processors. We love it when a breakthrough happens and usually Philips was leading the pack when it came to such evolutions. Now Lenovo are playing catch up with this P770 handset, that should offers a 3,500 mAh battery, even larger than the one on the Droid RAZR MAXX, that’s got a 3300 mAh power source. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note II opts for a 3,100 mAh power unit.

Lenovo P770 doesn’t actually impress in other areas, only packing a 4.5 inch qHD display, a dual core MediaTek MT6577 processor with 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera, as well as Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. I wonder if this device will pass the 2 day use of mark that’s basically the best performance you can get from a modern smartphone right now.
