HTC Droid DNA 5 Inch Phablet Leaks, Could Launch on December 6th

Posted: 06 Nov 2012 08:47 AM PST

HTC Droid DNA is a device that has been leaked before, the 5 inch 1080p device that was also dubbed HTC dlx. It could be the western version of HTC J Butterfly from Japan or maybe just a totally fresh newcomer, ready for its Verizon debut, according to the picture posted below and leaked by @evleaks.

Rumors are saying that the device will debut on December 6th and before being known as Droid DNA, the phablet also leaked as HTC Incredible X. This 5 inch 1080p device has a 440 ppi display, quad core processor and 2 GB of RAM. It will come to Verizon with LTE and in 16 GB and 32 GB versions. HTC and Verizon chose a 2,500 mAh battery for this newcomer, the same as the one on the Galaxy Note, for example.

Tipsters are saying that the device will be priced at $249 when it arrives next month, although previous rumors mentioned a $199 price tag. For now the device sounds impressive and I’m glad they added an extra 500 mAh to the battery compared to the Japanese version. Will you get one for Xmas?

First Black Friday Prices Leaked; RadioShack is First! Galaxy S III for $49.99, Free HTC One X and More!

We’re weeks away from Black Friday, a fact easy to spot if you look at the calendar on your wall, but already there’s a leak showing us some of the hot offers that we’ll get at the end of the month. RadioShack leaked its Black Friday deals, that include some very appealing prices and some hot high end smartphones available for free with contract.

Probably the hottest offer here is a free HTC One X with AT&T 2 year contract, but the Samsung Galaxy S III for $49.99 on Sprint is not too shabby either, also with a 2 year commitment. You also get $10 back in coupons with this model, just like the AT&T Galaxy S III going for $99.99. Galaxy S II also goes for free, as well as the Verizon Samsung Stratosphere II, of course with contracts. The Amazon Kindle Fire HD is listed as priced at $199.99 without contract, if you want a tablet.

HTC Desire C goes for $79.99 free of contract and on Cricket and these are only some of the offers available at the end of the month. The strangest thing on the list is the Samsung Stratosphere II, that’s not even official yet, so it’s definitely coming before Black Friday. Which of these offers will you choose?
