HTC Desire SV Dual SIM Dual Core Handset Unveiled in Singapore

Posted: 02 Nov 2012 03:20 AM PDT

HTC just unveiled a brand new handset during a local event in Singapore today. I’m talking about the dual core dual SIM HTC Desire SV, a handset that will debut in India first. This model was designed exclusively for markets like India, apparently.

This 3G Android phone is both dual core and dual SIM and it runs on Android 4.0 ICS. It will get upgrades to Android Jelly Bean soon, according to people in the know. The specs of this model include a 4.3 inch WVGA display, a 1 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and 768 MB of RAM. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera and other features include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, dual SIM with 3G support and two microSIM card slots.

There’s also a microSD card slot on board and Android 4.0.4 has HTC Sense 4.1 applied on top of it. According to Lennard Hoornik, HTC president South Asia region, Indian customers appreciate very much loud audio and dual SIM 3G features. The phone will cost about $465 in India.
