Lumiappaday #232: Cineworld demoed on the Nokia Lumia 900 Posted: 04 Jul 2012 08:11 AM PDT I understand that this app fills a very small niche – UK users who go to Cineworld, but it has its use nonetheless. For Cineworld goers they can pin their local cinema to the homepage and view the films available, including times as well as trailers for that movie. Great for anyone with the Cineworld unlimited pass (monthly payment to watch all the movies you can manage) #232) Cineworld

Video: 3D Video with Nokia 808 PureView – A Day with Tim, Kie & Pip – a 3D Freerunning Film Posted: 04 Jul 2012 08:03 AM PDT Claudio mailed us to share this 3D video he shot with a couple of Nokia 808 PureViews. That’s pretty neat – it was something I wanted to try out with the N8 ages ago but never got around to it. The subject is pretty awesome too, Parkour/Free Running – and the 808 is just what should be filming things like this (NOT LUMIA, Nokia). You’re gonna need a pair of RED/BLUE 3D glasses to see this.
I think those three guys would also look pretty awesome in a photoshoot where they’d be in action. by ihbmedia Thanks Claudio for sharing your video! |
Nokia Suite update, v3.5.21.0 (copy content between N9 and your computer) Posted: 04 Jul 2012 01:04 AM PDT A couple of weeks back Deaconclgi wrote about the v3.5 Nokia Suite beta which allowed for N9 compatibility.
There appears to be an update to v3.5.21.0. Is this for the regular (non beta) version?
Cheers silthice for the tip/screenshot! |
Video: Nokia 808 PureView vs Samsung Galaxy S III Posted: 04 Jul 2012 12:17 AM PDT
So… Samsung Galaxy SIII against the Nokia 808 PureView. We know at least one category the Nokia would win in hands down, no? Apparently 808 makes the Samsung pics amateurish. But this isn’t just a camera comparison anymore it’s about the full package. The 808 holds its own. Again it has its target market. by PhoneArena |
