Verizon’s Nokia Lumia 822 Leaks, Pictured Again

Posted: 28 Oct 2012 04:51 AM PDT

Nokia Lumia 822 is the Verizon version of the Lumia 820, that has been leaked a bunch of times till now. Well, now we’re dealing with a fresh leak, that shows the Lumia 822 next to the HTC 8X, in California Blue. The tipster who leaked the pic also confirmed prices like $99 for the Lumia 822 on contract.

HTC 8X goes for $199 on contract, also on Verizon. The interesting thing here is that although there was a leaked document recently saying that the Lumia 822 would come on November 12th, the insider talks about a November 8th debut. AT&T is also supposed to be moving around dates, so nothing’s certain right now. Rumors also say that there’s a mystery Samsung device that will be free on the same carrier and it’s apparently not the Samsung Ativ S, but a new phone.

For those of you wondering, the Nokia Lumia 820/822 features a 4.3 inch ClearBlack Display, an 8 megapixel camera at the back, a Snapdragon S4 dual core CPU and a battery that provides 8 hours of talk or 330 hours of standby time. The device also has NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, wireless charging, LTE, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia City Lens on board.

LG Nexus 4 Spotted in Carphone Warehouse Promo, Priced at 389 Quid (SIM Free)

Posted: 28 Oct 2012 04:41 AM PDT

Although LG Nexus 4 is not debuting tomorrow, as we hoped, because of the Sandy hurricane, it doesn’t mean phone retailers aren’t getting ready for its debut. One of them is Carphone Warehouse, one of the largest retailers of handsets in Europe. As you can see right here, we have a small promo panel showing the prices of the device, on and off contract.

The handset goes for 389.95 quid in the SIM free version and it’s available for free with a 31 quid a month contract. It’s listed as packing an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and a battery that provides about 12 hours of talk time. LG Nexus 4 incorporates a 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor and weighs 139 grams. There’s also Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board and that’s about everything the retailer is able to unveil right now. Obviously we know a lot more about the phone, since it has been leaked, reviewed, forgotten in a bar and basically handled by everyone out there…

It’s becoming ridiculous that so many leaks are happening and LG doesn’t even issue a press release about the device, although they even posted a quick start guide for the phone on their website. Kind of strange, right? The device also features a 4.7 inch HD screen and comes in 8 GB and 16 GB versions. 31 pounds a month to get the phone for free sounds appealing, right?
