Unicorn White Nokia N9 64GB for 439AUD/279GBP? Posted: 01 May 2012 06:59 PM PDT I’m not familiar with this retailer, though it does have a top 4000 Alexa Rank in Australia. They have a listing for the 64GB White Nokia N9 for only 439 AUD. That’s only about 279GBP. That’s quite a bargain if this is legit. Is that with taxes? When checking out the price jumps to 522AUD but there’s no mention anywhere that this is due to tax (though I’m not familiar how it should work as UK stores don’t have multiple prices for the same item – tax already included). Reviews for becextech look sound but then again, things like that are no longer reliable. Have any of you had experience with this retailer? Cheers gen for the tip.

Magenta Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T, Mother’s Day gift guide (it’s just a case) Posted: 01 May 2012 05:23 PM PDT Check it out: Over at AT&T the main shop page has a Magenta Nokia Lumia 900 on show as one of the Mother’s Day gift ideas. Thanks Tarun for the tip! Update: It’s a ruddy case. http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/accessory-details/?wtSlotClick=1-007H5P-0-1&q_categoryid=all&q_sku=sku5870247&q_manufacturer=nokia&q_model=prod5770227#fbid=Sl7qoo1ypGX There is a magenta one coming: http://mynokiablog.com/2012/04/25/magentafuschia-nokia-lumia-900-at-gigantti-fi/ The image is updated slightly, with the recessed LED on show. |
Inside the colourful funky Nokia HQ, Silicon Valley Posted: 01 May 2012 08:24 AM PDT It’s been quite some time since we heard about the SunnyVale Nokia HQ at Silicon Valley. The last picture I saw was of an old and unexciting looking building.
But it’s actually looking very fresh and colourful inside. The reception looks pretty standard but all the other rooms are funky looking. They’ve even got beds. There’s more pictures in this slideshow.
Apparently, fewer than 10 of the 500 employees there have a permanent work space in their shape shifting office. It looks like a fun place to work, full of energy. It’s definitely not your standard cubicles approach. I hope these people are doing meaningful things at Nokia. Source: BusinessWeek Cheers Javier for the tip (from last Tuesday!) |
